I suspect that an unconscionable amount charged like that would get someone's attention. Interesting, S.C. has regulations on tow companies, including fees charged for booting.

 

I was thinking more along the lines of breaking my tire thumper on their heads.

 

For giggles, I Googled this tow company, talk about fly by night, not BBB accredited, lots of complaints, sounds like the kid of scumbags that would engage in this behavior.
