Thought I would add an update to about this shipper encase someone does a search on it. American Textiles Co. Duquesne, PA. If you are late for your appointment time, you will sit for hours before getting a dock. Driver long-term parking available.

PA has a plan - don't mark the restricted roads properly = more trucks getting screwed up = more money in fines.

Don't forget they just lowered the weight limits on a LOT of bridges too. Some are capped at 40 tons for combinations, 36 tons for single vehicles. But many are lower than that. If you have to travel on a route you aren't sure of best bet is to either check with PennDOT or the shipper/receiver.

Here is a list of current weight restrictions from PennDOTs own website. Of course, signage might vary.

Truckin Juggalo LOL- I live a couple miles from your second pickup and am familiar with where you were (area wise, not American textile).
    American Textile Co
    10 N Linden St
    Duquesne, PA
I google mapped and little yellow manned your route --I feel for you !
I Didn't see any "absolutely no trucks signs" but i am not arguing if they are there or not --cause it doesn't matter--its a cluster unfortunately --believe it or not they should have had a sign saying all "Truck traffic to 376 take 837" -That would have been straight on (right lane) 837 where the road splits.
Where you said "Thats were the trouble starts - yep your right -- There should be another sign "all trucks over So many tons" must turn right" (very sharp right hand ramp at the very end of the Rankin bridge).
Worst part of it all - all that area is where the steel mills used to be, so you would think it would be easier.
I am not even sure where you finally hooked up with 376 -either Wilkinsburg or Regent Square -Swissvale --but it must have been a fun ride anyway.
