In the methodology yes it does in fact bring down your personal score. I don't know why you guys keep insisting it doesn't. Do you have access to the scores? No, nobody does.
Which driver has a score of 21? Do you have access to the data? The only access we have is in the methodology to calculate our own scores, but without access to everyones scores we cant rank drivers.
Everyone uses "points" in completely the wrong context. Severity weight or "points" simply do not matter, what matters is your score.
This is like arguing with a bunch of morons who don't even ####### want to look at the formulas used. No wonder the general public thinks so low of us. I've provided the EXACT FORMULAS WHICH FMCSA HAS PUBLISHED yet nobody wants to look at them. They just want to believe what they hear on channel 19 and at the buffet counter. Seriously if you guys want to have strong opinions about something EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE MAKING YOURSELVES LOOK LIKE FOOLS!

First is how they calculate driver scores and rankings, second is how they do carriers. In fact there are many many violations that do not apply to the driver whatsoever. All violations apply to the carrier. So you can get a violation of "improper holes drilled in frame" or something like that, yet it actually shows up as a clean inspection on the drivers score. -

You have only shown the company.
My clean inspections had no change to the score. Only time. -
Read the post above yours, the formulas are the same. All the formulas used to be in the same link, now they've separated them into two links.
Have a nice day! -

It seems you need to do that here sometimes to get your point across. Someone makes a point, you make a point that completely refutes it logically, they make the same point, you make a point again further backing up and refuting their point, they make the same point again. No comprehension whatsoever. Just stubbornness and a complete lack of willingness to listen to others. Why is it so hard for people to admit they're wrong?
No wonder the general public laughs at us. -
Where?
Your company doesn't know what they're talking about. You should show them the links above. -
