US-Xpress pays for orientation days, and while waiting in a hotel on a trainer. They do not pay for time on the bus and at home.
Was I wrong for quitting US Xpress?

I lol'd at this. I was prepared to call you a wuss and tell you man up, but if you are telling the truth that they said sleeping at a bus station or nothing then I don't blame you for not wanting to sleep in a bus station.
If they wouldn't spring for a hotel to impress a new guy imagine how bad they would bend you over once they really got hooks in you.
Most every big company that hires zero experience n00bs is going to try to find a way to bend you over at least find one that uses lube is my advice man. -
Whats the difference between US Express and swift?! Nothing as far as im concerned just a couple of bottom feeders...

I vote being a wuss. lol
gravelhauler Thanks this. -
I wonder what percentage of new drivers have effed up a company's truck while they are learning?
Most big companies are offering plenty of miles for you to hone your craft in their equipment for the sole purpose of making you a more attractive candidate to the company you actually want to work for.
All this waaaaah waaaaah about bottom feeders completely ignores the mercenary nature of a lot of n00b truckers. -
