I would have told them to kiss my ##### over that bus trip, esp. with a long layover.
When I started hauling glass Combined flew me from Oklahoma to Oregon, that's decent treatment, had it been a bus trip I would have said no thanks.

For the other stuff, noobs don't get to tell anyone what they're gonna do, I didn't want to haul floor loads of meat into NYC every week but I was at the bottom of the pecking order so I had to do what I had to do. After a while I got to go to more desirable places, haul swinging meat and easier to unload loads.

A dedicated run isn't bad at all to learn on, you're at the point now where you're just going to learn what you don't know... and that is a lot.

That opening post was one of the most pathetic things I've ever read... You should see some of the stuff I do to earn a check. Why didn't you just fly up there? It would have been a 2 hour flight. Have fun going to another orientation. I hope they report on your DAC. What happens when you're going to have to chain up in a dock your already stuck in? Quit? Or what about if you have to pound some frozen brakes? Quit? What if your get some fuel on your sweats and flip-flops at the pump? Quit? Dude, grow a set.

I agree about everything in the OP being waaaah waaaah except for the part about sleeping in a bus station. I agree with not doing that I really find it hard to believe that an employer would ask someone to do that. Homeless people sleep in bus stations I think it is ok to demand to be treated better than a homeless person by a perspective employer.

All the rest of the stuff about the regional and the time of day was pure whine though.

No, not really. I just suck it up and do it and don't cry and quit and go running home to mommy. I have a mortgage, a car payment, 2 kids, and a wife. I do what I gotta do buddy. BTW, nice thanks to thanked ratio.
