I don't think it was a waste. I'm sure someone will hire you. Send out a lot of applications.

I made a few extra bucks repowering Canadian bound loads that were picked up by felons when I was at Stevens.

There is a common understanding out there that people ,regardless of there pasts, can have another chance to be that productive, providing, blue collar hero to their families. Its a purpose

You know, that's not a bad idea. One of the guys that attended my school had a felony or felonies (I think for drugs, Not sure) but that was his plan. He wasn't even trying for a big truck driving gig. He was going to work with construction companies driving a dump truck.

It's a possibility if no one is willing to work with you or if you want to do something more local as opposed to OTR.

Well, you have an uphill battle it looks like. Not fair but fact of life. I hope you're able to find something soon. I wish I could help you more than just wishing you the best. I'll be watching your thread with great interest, though.

It's going to be tough. I think robbery ranks directly behind any charge resulting from bodily harm.
    Best of luck!

I agree but motor carriers do not.robbery is a more serious offense.what companies are looking at is can they trust you with expensive equipment you would be operating and expensive freight.so if you're getting turned down that's why.
