unloading in IL, driving to STL to reload, then making it home that night makes for a long day.
727 miles is the longest I have tried to get away with lately. over the winter I drove nonstop from Reno to Laramie and no one said anything to me. before that I drove from home almost to Minneapolis. ah the good old days.

lol, i had a killer week when i rehired and got my truck out of DSM, i'm not going to go into detail, though, because people are watching. =P
Let's just say i unloaded alot of 2 day runs a day early =P -
Driver I will say that to have a heart as a teacher or trainer you cant do it just for the money. 750.00 isnt even worth it.Its about wanting to see guys be successful and know you had a small part of it. Just my.02 worth.Fratsit Thanks this.

I agree, as stated in my post, but sadly alot of guys, more specifically TMC trainers don't feel the same as we do. -
sounds to me like TMC makes alot of delivery's up north. Any drivers from nc in here? If so what are your runs normally like?

I would have to agree, at least from my experience with my trainer...he couldnt give a ratsass about his trainees , only cared about the money, due he was behind on all his bills, told me straight up he hated training us cause we were all idiots and only did it for the money... just my experience..boy I could tell some stories but we'll leave it at that...

Good intentions don't pay the bills though and in the end you've gotta provide. Two log books will make you a good chunk of extra money, but doing it at the expense of actually teaching someone who is going to be out on the road is obviously not good.
