I also carry hand cleaner.Right now I drive local and have sanitizer works better then any soap out of the trk stop.Nothing more I hate is driving with dirty hands.I feel like I need to go home and shower.I do drop and hook 12 times a day. It's a necessity to have some kind of hand cleaner with me.

I carry a small container of permatex hand cleaner, have it right behind my seat. I don't blame truck stops for not having gojo or lava in their bathrooms. 1st, it is not cost effective, there would be more waste on on more expensive product. a lot of the truck stops have upgraded bathrooms. they are looking better than years ago. they do not want it inviting to someone who has grease/oil on them, getting their grime on everything they touch. plus what about family's that visit the truck stops? some one that just wants to wash after holding their privates, does not need more than a disinfectant foam. maybe regular customers do not want their hands smelling like diesel fuel...I have a shop at home. the wife & kid's do not wash their selves in my shop & I do not wash myself in the house when I do shop work. permatex is the best smelling hand cleaner, keep some clean old rags, or torn clean cloths as rags & clean yourself. then go use the bathrooms. or take a shower.

I just wish more truck stops had a faucet you can turn on to wash your hands. I'm so sick of the automatic sinks that spit out a little bit of water then shut off.

My favorite is the people ( presumarly driver ) who come out of the stalls and turn on the water smoosh their hands together twice and walk out of the bathroom... They must have forgot about the soap...

What about the ones that don't touch water at all, no matter what was just done. I've seen more Caucasian people doing it. But no matter the race, it's plain NASTY!
