Looking to shave miles off my route.
Us 12 has scales but don't remember taking it.
I'm in chehalis wa headed to wi
1860 ish mi on interstates.
Gonna take mt 200/87 to shave it down to 1817
Us 12 would cut it down to 1808 from my current location.
So is it quicker to take us 12 or should I go up i5 and suffer through Tacoma/algona traffic and just do the one shave?
Weight will be approx 45k in box.
Washington state trip plan route

12 Is longer in time, exactly the same in mileage as I-5, 18, I-90 to the ultimate juncture in Vantage, WA from Chehalis Wa.
12 is a two lane mountain pass with many small towns, low speed limits, and slow corners. I is also another 2000ft in elevation than Snoqualmie (I-90).CargoWahgo, Joetro and jomar68 Thank this. -
I-5/SR512/SR167/SR18/90.... Longer but faster.... Traffic will be light if you motivate now.... If you can't get past the scales on I-5 by 4 might as well wait it out till 6
CargoWahgo Thanks this. -
