dont see the big deal about pets. if you have ever recovered a truck you know drivers can be alot and i do mean alot nastier than any animal.
hotrod1653 Thanks this. -
Yeah....But the same nasty driver that's too lazy/stupid to clean him/her self, Then add a dog or whatever their beast of choice is and then you've really got a mess!
Pets have no business in trucks...If you can't handle life on the road without them, You're in the wrong business! -
And a dog will have a lot more intelligent things to say than what you'll hear on those talk radio showstrucker43, lonewolf4ad, Crusher and 1 other person Thank this. -

Hmmm.. I dunno.. I have my dog.. I sweep daily and she isn't a real mess.. I would rather clean up her smell.. Than some of the drivers I've smelled standing in line at ts.. What's worse? My clean dog or a nasty driver that just tarped in 95+ weather getting in his just.. Just to sit in a cloth seat that absorbs his smell and sweat?

You driving? If so, who for?

Yes and those of us who don't smoke just love getting moved to an ashtray. I mean truck after a smoker was in it. I've been in this 1 for about 3 weeks now. I have used coffee grounds, ALOT of febreeze, and scrubbed everything down yet I still SMELL smoker. Cookies hair on the other hand is cleaned up 2-3x daily, and I wasn't charged by the company for a cleaning fee after my last truck since it was clean already. This includes at least 1x a month taking the dash apart and cleaning any hair that has got in there.slabrunner and LavenderTrucker Thank this. -

Wow Mark, sounds like a tough gig!
I've been approved for Swift flatbed (I know, that's not a guarantee), and am supposedly waiting for a orientation date at Greer SC. But, I've been putting in aps yesterday and today to any flatbed company I can find that has a terminal in the greater area. I'm sure most, if not all, will say not enough recent experience (if they reply at all) but won't know if I don't try.Last edited: Jan 31, 2010
