Exactly....just watch stuff online....of course this is presuming Verizon (or your cell carrier) have a decent signal.
I can do it with 3G but need to turn down the definition (quality) of the video. On 4G there is no issue. -
can't any of that on my "dumb phone".
-
Ok...well then thats an issue.
Maybe it might be cheaper to look into getting a more up-to-date phone...ya know, one that uses TOUCH TONE?
hehehe
Seriously, you could look into that. Personally, I really don't watch much tv...sometimes a 30min show on Hulu or something just before going to sleep...I usually just chat on line (or here) and the data needs are really low for that. I have yet to go over my 5GB bucket in a month...came close once though-Attached Files:

You do understand this was a theoretical remark, not an actual occurrence?

I watch just enough to get wound down to sleep so just my antenna mounted under the roof fairing pulls in plenty of local networks unless i'm in the middle of nowhere.
Can usually always get ABC,CBS,NBC and Fox along with some other stations.
I used to take a Direct TV receiver from home but the dish is a PIA to set up all the time. -
I read alot. Clive Cussler, James Patterson. fix food, read and eat then sleep.
home on weekends, not out for 2 wks, anymore. -
I've a tv in the truck but I also got a drive for my laptop with a small magnetic ariel that goes outside the cab, it'll pick up local free-to-air channels and works pretty well
-
glad it works well for you
cuz out here. that digital signal is BS. and DOESN'T work so well.Scania man Thanks this. -
Havin said that I've never had the opportunity to try it in the middle of a desert like you guys have, can't imagine it much use in areas like that
