Water in antenna

How disheartening!!!! Wilsons used to be synonymous with quality and durability. I have run them before, but that was a few years ago. When did their QC go to crap?

 

few years ago they sold out to Barjan...down hill ever since.

 

Is there anything left that Barjan does not own ?

 

WELL IF EVERYONE WOULD STOP USING THEIR ANTENNAS FOR FISHING POLES MAYBE YA WOULDN'T GET WATER IN THEM.... DUH

 

Telex and by default Electro Voice are owned by Bosch Corporation and most if not all of their products are made in the United States.

 

Actually...Barjan ended up selling out to a company called DAS inc. in 2012 who now owns not only Wilson, but Astatic, Francis, Road King, K40, and more...

Actually DAS does not own the Astatic Corporation they only own the right to use the Astatic name on a couple CB related items. Astatic Corporation renamed itself Cad Audio to distance itself from the cheap Chinese garbage they sell at the truck stops with the Astatic name.

You can still purchase an Astatic 631L noise cancelling microphone or the 651
made by the real Astatic company. although unfortunately it too is also made in China

 

Ya know...With just about everything now being made or assembled in China...were going to be in a real-pickle if the US starts bombing North Korea, and China jumps in and takes up sides with them...Price of CB's will sky-rocket over night!
