Is there a seal around the shifter floor plate or did the shop I just have do work screw up like every other shop I’ve had work done at? I had work done at a Cat shop, rebuilt trans and new clutch, and they didn’t even adjust the clutch after the work sadly. Seems like every shop I go to doesn’t do what it takes to get the job done. I snaked the drain tube for the a/c (and it actually makes the a/c work better thankfully) and things dried out but after another rain the floor got wet again. Pretty sure it’s coming through the shifter hole and I don’t want to take it apart out on the road and make it worse since it’s the weekend and places are not open where I’m at in case something breaks or or something is broken already. I’ve googled for a seal and nothing came up so here I am asking.
Water in floor after trans work

Usually its just the rubber boot and that's it.
Hate to say it but having worked at a Cat shop, most of the guys on the floor are lost if they have to work on any part that isn't yellow.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -

If it's a Peterbilt, yes. Upper and lower seal.
Peter_Bilt Thanks this.
