"Watkins And Shepard 10 day Orientation?!"...

Thinking about going to w/s, but what I'm being told you do get paid,$100 the first and fifth day and the final $200 on your first check, once you get your own truck.

 

Yea, I'm schelduled to start on Jan 3rd, were you told u would be paid.

 

This is a very old thread dude. There are a lot of newer ones under the watkins and shepard section.

 

That's right, you get a $100 on the first day (Monday), and another $100 on day 5(Friday). Then when you get your truck assignment on week 2 you get $200 but with taxes taken out on the whole $400, so it ends up being somewhere in the $130-150 net depending on you tax exemptions.

also, what schools are on the Watkins/Shepard list as acceptable...I am in Michigan. thanks

you'll have to call recruiting to find out what schools in your area they hire from. Theres a terminal in Taylor, MI so im sure theres a bunch of schools up there
