General question to any WS driver or those who'd know...... I would like to know what type freight you haul most, what is length of haul avg, Do y'all run lanes in the midwest (Indy), if so like where.

The training and all sounds great, but the info on the website leaves alot of questions? how bout a general rundown of all the driver details and the who what where n all. Sure would appreciate it
    Thanks

Not too sure how busy it actually is, but there's definitely runs to and from there. Not sure yet. Remember, I've only been with the company a week, so some of my answers aren't 100%. I'll know more as time goes on

Yep, I had the same feelings. I'd call sometimes and B/S more with Roxy than actually get any work done, and we'd both be in stitches laughing. Wait til you get there! Ya you can drill holes to mount things on the inside, like a paper towel roll holder or sirius radio holder etc., just don't go crazy drillin' holes all over the cab. As long as you don't drill into the metal on the inside and outside.

HOME!!!!!!!! Finally got home time. Cleaned the truck top to bottom today and I'm spending the next week at home with the family. Gotta love turkey dinner :D YUM!

    Jmurman and Znine Thank this.

Gotta love a turkey dinner!! Thanks for answering about the drilling of things...I would prolly want to put a towel holder and at least a Sirius/XM mount as I'm a current subscriber and it's great to be able to listen to things all across the country. A question about washing the truck top to bottom....do you have to do this at the terminal, or can you take it home to do it, and when on the road, does WS pay for washes or does it come out of your own pocket?

Also, now that you're home, pictures, pictures, pictures!! I want to see your ride inside and out, if possible...

Enjoy the time with family, we'll talk soon.

By the way, I got my DOT physical card today!! Only one year due to some minor hi bp issues, but I'm one step closer..

Znine, Spokane is a destination city for us. Meaning, freight in not much out. My personal experience on hyw 90 from Missoula to Lakewood, has been very busy. I am in Spokane now on my way to Shearidan. This company allows O/Os and teams who do not want to go west of Missoula on 90 drop their loads in Missoula. Then some one has to repower the load and deliver it to the Kent/Lakewood area. There are Pier 1 loads that come into Spokane. Furniture loads that come in as well. Hope this helps.

W/S will pay for your truck to get washed once a month. If you are in Missoula or Helena
there is a mobile truck wash company that will wash your truck.

sisco, you may need to go through the 10 day class. It's really a 2 week orientation. You will go out for a drive 3 times. Around town, up and down hills then around town or in the hills depending on what the instructor wants to see you do again. The rest is learning company policy, doing logs, chaining and paperwork.
Call Sandy or Roxie and they can give you the rundown.

I don't mean to take over you thread here, I was throwing in my 2 cents on a couple of questions.
