Watkins Shepard 30-Day Training

That sounds like the United School here in the OC...and I agree that getting real world experience while still in school is great. Funny, I'm going all the way to Montana to only come back home...and not even be able to stop by the house

Good luck on your road test next week...coincidentally I have my permit test on Wednesday as well, so we both have something to accomplish at DMV!

ya I agree hopefully though you ( and I ) will get back close enough to home ie: sfs terminal to go get the rest of our stuff after getting trucks, Roxy said they usually try and get u back to yer home terminal to "load up" before headin out, good luck Wed. luckily I already passed all my endorsement tests so all I have to do is the driving part.

 

Well, now I found out that WS is "suspending" their school, so I will be going to a local school after all, and part of the class is getting permits, so I'll be canceling my DMV test for now....get my training here then WS told me I'm still approved for hire, so I can still go there for the 10 day....

 

warpd that really blows. I know you have been reeeeaaallyy looking forward to this, I hope you find a school to get started in quickly cuz they require a 160 hour school. And btw ask Roxy if she can email u the "approved school list" OR if you send me your email I can forward the one she sent me for them to hire you it has to be an approved school from their list

 

I wonder if the 30 day school suspension is going to affect my 10 day in Jan.?

 

did they say why the school was being stopped? to many drivers not enough trucks?? I hope I wont be effected cuz I really dont want to go drive fer werner or swift (where I have been preapproved thru the school) but i have heard soooooomany bad things about them. As of this morning I talked to Cristy and supposedly I am still on the OK to hire list-- provided I pass the safety phone interview and the "stress" test / agility test or whatever it is but I dont see any problems with that. Now MY fingers are crossed. LOL
