Watkins-Shepard Acquired by Schneider

There is not a single Schneider that is governed above 64. England is worse. You are confusing overspeed with limiters.

 

Well, since I was on a team truck when I started that went 67, whatever. They do have them. You have to set the cruise at 64, but then it will bump up until it got to 67 per the speedo and the 2 GPS systems we used to run on it. I cruise now in my own truck at 65, and I get passed by the white dedicated trucks on the Home Depot account pretty frequently.

 

The dedicated side does have some faster trucks I believe. My Watkins truck runs 65, i pass Schneider all the time but I got beside one idiot in FL a few weeks back in a white FL and he sped up and stayed right with me and wouldn't let me go around. I was empty too. So I had to back off and let him keep going. Bad thing was the idiot got off at the next exit.

 

These Schnider Basterds will work Y 13.5 hr days w no overtime pay-ever. A union is only way to get these ########### Attention & I work for these pricks now-but not long. No night pay, no holiday pay ever, no pulling double pa y, If Y work 14 hr days pay never changes; because your Salary. (Union is only solution with these Basterds)

 

Tell them u want to transfer to Lodeso. Lol they acquired it with Watkins Shepard but lodeso is union. Lol

 

They kept asking me if I wanted to switch from otr to local because when I would do some local for them for a day just waiting on my hometime, I'd out-perform their local drivers. When I found out they'd make you salary and work 14 hour days for what equaled #### for hourly pay I just laughed and refused the next time they asked for a local day.

 

I'm becoming disenfranchised with W&S as well. Every few days something ####tier happens.

 

No problems here. I'm still as happy as I was when I first started. Still doing the same thing I've been doing for a while now. Only problem I have seen is their breakdown is terrible. What we use to get done in an hour takes them 4. They can really mess up a LTL load If you ain't careful.

 

Breakdown is utter ####... Glad I've never been in a dangerous situation while broke down.
