    Okay, I've been putting off starting my own thread until it was more or less definite, but with some help from the S.O. and my mom, I should be starting school on Monday with United Truck School. Then, hopefully, on to teaming with the S.O. (who will one day claim me on here :biggrin_25522:) and driving for W/S.

    After a couple of months of researching and a few years of watching my S.O. drive off without me, it should all start on Valentine's Day.

    I'm working all day today, but using the weekend to do some extra studying, packing up my van for staying down there all week, and hopefully meeting Lady K on Sunday.

    I love to write, so I hope to document my journey step-by-step. I had a blog, but the blogs are pretty dead, so I'll be doing that here.

    I'm on my way... ready or not!

    I second what D1 said. United is a great school. You'll see how much better when you go to the DMV and watch all the other people....
    Which city are you going to class in? Unless you are going to the San Diego location, all the classrooms funnel into the Riverside driving range.

    I'm going straight to Riverside. None of the locations are actually close for me, but that one works best.
