Had a quick question here about the fitness evaluation. I had a spinal injury due to a car wreck back in 2010, not my fault, and surgery to repair it in Feb. 2011. It's been a year since the surgery and I am pretty much back to normal.

At this point I can do everything listed in the fitness evaluation and riding for hours does not bother my back as I have taken several trips recently.

I know I would have to call and find out but I just wanted other W/S drivers opinions if this would be a disqualification for employment even thought I can do everything required in the evaluation.

I start tech school March 5th and am just doing some early shopping around.

Shouldnt be a problem although it i were you id get a note from your doctor saying your all good.

According to my recruiter (Darlene), the HPE and drug test are now done at orientation instead of before. At least for Conover.

So after you do you Application and verification with the recruiters/processors, You WILL receive a call from someone in the Safety Department calling to do your Safety Interview. No need to worry AT ALL all it is, is they ask you about your medical history.....EXAMPLE- Have you ever sustained an injury at Work? if yes DO you have any residual Effects from the Injury? stuff like that real easy DON'T LIE "Remember everything is in your medical records.

question: where do they get the medical records from? I'm asking bc some of the doctors I went to years ago are gone. I'd like to that info as well.
