rednek to give u an estimate of what your husband will make until he learns this industry; I'll give him say 2200 miles a week multiply that by .27 and you will see what I mean by traveling for free.
To get his truck right and spend less money on the road he would need the following things.
1. An inverter get an 1500 watt or better.
2. A refrigerator
3. A tv with with dvd's please no porn for it would cause more testostuwrong how ever u spell it I tried.
inverters run about $150 to 250 tv catch it on sale somewhere and the fridge is about the same as the inverter.
Trust me after he gets those items he will be more comfortable and them 2200 miles can turn into 2900 with less stress.

 

ms redneck, a few other things that will help are to help him setup his truck, and send him out with groceries. My wife cooks meals like spagetti,meatloaf,lasagna and things like that, she freezes them in quart size bags so I keep them in my fridg/freezer, and then just microwave them when I need them. Also, if your kids are old enough to understand, get them a US map and get them involved as far as where Daddy is, sometimes I would talk to my daughter and have her "help" me plan a trip. Might sound corny, but it helps.....Good Luck.
