I'm almost done training and not a day too soon. Take my CDL test monday and get outta these dorms! Just wanted to chime in on this thread as I'll soon be a W/S newbie running over curbs, hitting light poles, small children, the elderly and backing into '09 Kenworths in the truck stops!
Good to see the S2B / Nawlins / Rednec feud is still stong! Get em tigers.
ps. I can hear the 10-dayer in the next room across the hall snoring! #### dude, go see a Dr.

Were you headed north or south on I-5 today?
-
Yeah, I checked out the school last year when I spoke to W/S office, it's on the approved school list. As far as the 6 month statement...
Minimal hometime for the first six months is expected, I'm just looking to see what I can expect afterwards. Three weeks out with a few days home would beneficial. -

I was rolling south. I picked up in Longview WA. and deliver in West Sac.
Was I talking to you on the radio? -
No. I'm not a driver yet but I saw a W/S truck parked at a small TS north of Longview this evening on my way home from Vancouver and thought that if you were headed this way it might be you. How far south did you get before you shut down? I've made several I-5 trips with a friend of mine and know of a place to shut down in Northern CA that is quite interesting to say the least.

You can get loads that will take you through the bay that will let you get home for a night or two. It will not count as home time. I have found that a lot of drivers do not want to take loads into the bay area. I take every one I can get. I live near the 580 680 interchange and get routed through there every time. I would like it to be more often. If you have more questions about west coast runs or home time let me know. I hate to put it in writing BUT s2b is a great guy with a lot of good info as well. And yes he is going for kiss ### of the year award.

That was not me at the TS. I went from Aurora OR straight to Longviw and I stopped here in Phoenix OR. I would like to know about this place in Norcal. Please do share.

I met you on Saturday in Missoula when you got back from your LA run. Rednec and I were hanging out in the drivers lounge. Sorry to hear about the guy snoring next door. As you know you can hear a rabbit fart in the next room, those walls are not good for blocking sound.
Good Luck on your Test! -
I think it is Pollard Gulch or Pollard Pass on I-5 in Cali at about MP 712 East Side. Small country resturant (good food - you might want to try breakfast there) and store with parking for about a dozen trucks. Be sure to use the restroom in the cafe by the store.
You'll understand after you see it. Be sure to post your reaction...

6309, I looked it up. It's called Pollard Flat.
