S2B, I just meant that not ALL of the Dalton loads have to leave as soon as you get the qualcomm. With some of them you can sleep in until 3:00 or 4:00 before pulling out, which is nice sometimes 'cause the load that brought you to Dalton was most likely a daytime running one, and that will be the case with the one bringing you back to Georgia.
I certainly don't mind the Dalton/Ohio/Atlanta loop, since I live in Atlanta and can sometimes sneak home without taking time off. Could be worse.Last edited: Nov 11, 2009

Got my first load going out tonight. Didn't think my truck would be ready until tomorrow, but alas it is. There's a team coming in with a load of carpet going to PCD in Kent, Wa. and I'm taking it up there. I should be leaving around midnight tonight to have it there sometime in the morning. Hella nervous, but I'll just take my time and keep the wheels down.

You'll do fine, LMob. I'll be waiting to hear how it went when you get a chance to post again.
Can't wait to be able to post that I got my first load, but that's still a couple months away, including the training.... -

Hey Lynch,
There are teams and a few O/O that DO NOT go west of Missoula. I have picked up several loads going to Washington from them. Now that I know you are going to Kent on Friday I'll tell Levi to have you go see all S2B's girlfriends in Spokane. You'll love it! I have a delivery in Kelowna, BC. tomorrow. I will be going empty all the way back to Lakewood. I'll look for you at the Terminal.Last edited: Nov 12, 2009

Mooniac
I went past Polard Flats yesterday and saw the tc you were talking about. There was a w/s truck there in the lot. I had to get to Grants Pass for a delivery and was unable to stop. I hope to have a load going back down 5 this weekend and will stop on my way. I will get back to you on the bathroom. -
OK! I'll be waiting for your response..
Hey! If you know a time you are going to get up north of Longview, give me a shout. Would love to sit down with a W/S driver and get a first hand perspective of their likes/dislikes. I live on Riffe Lake about 20 minutes up Highway 12 from I-5.
