This sounds like a rumor to me, since most the Conover stuff goes west.

 

It may just be just solo OTR guys? Most of the furniture that goes west is moved by teams and O/O. I was told that Walt gave the OK to keep NC OTR drivers on the east coast to run furniture stop loads. Of course this information is not direct from anyone in management so take it with a grain of salt. I will be making inquires in the near future to get more details.

 

last week in conover i went to NM with multiple drop furniture, im just a company solo...

TD I am actually on my way back down to Tempe, So I will be at that Pilot again on wednesday around noon. Its a 1200 mile run and I did 475 of it today. I am in Idaho falls right now for the night.

My 90 days are up around the end of June

Hey, I'm at the Pilot....except it's in Dalton, GA...LOL
I should have a pretty good week, a Home Depot run from WA to WY, a sugar load from NE to IN, a G.E. run from IN to GA,and after I finished that, I did some local pick-ups for the terminal. Got a Q-Comm from dispatch and she said I'd be getting a load tomorrow....hopefully back towards the west or at least the midwest so I can get to my hometime on time.

Speaking of 90 days, my wife told me I had a message at home from someone in benefits saying they want to talk to me as my 90 days are almost up...man time passes fast! My hire date is 03/05, so my 90 should be 06/05!

Man this has been a long 4 weeks, I am looking forward to 3 days or so off end of next week...but then I'm going out for almost 7 weeks so I can take a whole week off during July, there is a big family wedding and a lot of people in town who I don't see that often....

 

Well im still 360 miles out so it wont be until around 2-3 pm when i show up. I wanted to make Flagstaff by tonight but that just didnt happen.. Too many miles lol. I was gonna run out of time somewhere in BFE so I parked it 10 hours deep. Up the hill in some podunk town in utah at the "truck stop" lol it fits 10 and already has 20 in it haha... I am gonna get moving around 6 tommorow morning..
