Well i look on W/S website and they have a terminal in richmond,KY. so would they let me work for them. I live 20mls from there..

Ya I was a O/O for about 3yrs. got out for some famaily issues. But i will have to go back to school to get my cdl back do to I did not renew them bc i did not think I would ever go back to driving. I loved it then and i will love it when i go back to it. Yes i will be a O/O but not as soon as get in the truck.It will 1 to 2 yrs before i do that.

 

W/S have their own 30 day school or you can go to a private school. They offer tuition reimbursement now again as well. I am a newbie but after just finishing school here in AZ last week and talking to drivers from every company at a truckstop we had lunch at every day Watkins was my choice plus Roxy in recruiting is awesome. I finally made it home last nite for a day off before I deliver on Monday, then 3 days hometime. I left Winslow, AZ yesterday morning in a fierce windstorm that blew me around pretty good until I got into the mountains around Flagstaff. I felt my trailer get light a couple of times and I'm not afraid to admit that I was scared, more scared than I have ever been driving. After finally getting to a Pilot, I had breakfast with Lynchmob in Bellemont, AZ and went on my way. He was heading east and texted me later that they closed the 40 at MM 232 and were turning all traffic back to Flagstaff. He said that he wouldn't have driven with the 18k in the box that I have...I guess I was too much of a noob to know to pull over. Hopefully he's gotten out of there by now...
I drove the rest of the way in the wind. That makes 2 days of wind driving, and it makes my arms hurt, as well as tired, both physically and mentally. I am enjoying being on my sofa as I type this....LOL

 

I heard from Lynchmob it was pretty bad up there. Have not heard from him yet today.

 

Yea I saw the wind advisories and started looking at the weather maps, they had the whole us covered from west coast to central area with wind warnings!
