This company has themselves together. They truly safety first.. They even have a garage ta drive through when on premises with trailers to chk them.over before they get sent on to next driver. They pay by hour and expect you to be safe driving by doing speed limit. Great benefits, the truck drivers don't leave they stay with the company for yrs.Every truck driver I've spoken to us very happy.. they have local, regional, OTR. Flatbed, van style. They awesome!! So glad I came !!

Not a bad company I hear. I actually was talking to one of the recruiters about two years back. The driver facing camera was a deal breaker for me. Then I talked to one of the drivers and he said they used some kind of cell phone jammer that you couldn't use your phone while on duty. And while that wouldn't necessarily bother me much, my family comes first, and if they can't reach me at any time throughout the day, that's a no go

Sounds good driver! I like a company that's all about safety!
navypoppop Thanks this. -
Pulling up old threads as I'm looking around for a new company job. Cell phone jammers? Is this for real? If they still are using software (or hardware) like that, then are a definite "no go" for me.Iamoverit and navypoppop Thank this.

Yeah, that's unacceptable. People need to be able to reach you in an emergency. Also, many people use their phone for GPS.
-
Yeah I can't confirm or deny the cell phone thing, other than what another driver who previously worked there told me. And I'm not sure I believe everything he says either lolKnucklehead Thanks this.

Jamming cell phone signals is illegal. Can't do that unless you're the government.
KDHCryo and Knucklehead Thank this. -
I asked a friend about this who was going to work for them, and he said that they dropped the cell jammers once they went with driver facing cameras. Not a fan of those, either, but it seems that it's getting harder to find companies that DON'T use them.Knucklehead and Lonesome Thank this.
