after starting at 7:15 AM i delivered at 1PM and was dispatched on a ld delivering at midnight tonight 3 hrs away. i was told at 1st i could b there anytime before midnight. after i got about 1/2 mile down the rd i was sent a msg stating "it is a firm apt. do a split-break to deliver on time. after running the no's i realized i couldnt takw my 8 and b there on time. also couldnt do the 2 first as it would only "extend" my 14 till 11:15PM.
after telling my DM this he said i'll call ya right back"
well he called back and said bring it back to the yard we will get something else. i was surprised greatly by this, as USA's response would have been to drive to final, log the unload and go to bed until the ACTUAL apt AT 12 AND GET UP TO DEAL WITH IT.
SO I SAY WAY TO GO ARNOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ALSO ON ANOTHER NOTE, lol, I GOT A T-SHIRT FOR TURNING IN A "PERFECT DOT INSPECTION" REPORT I GOT SUNDAY IN AL.
