Let be real most loads don't take 3 days lol
If its gonna take 3 days it better pay more then $.30 a mile profit. But taking a load going 500 miles for a small profit vs sitting 2 days I'll take a 500 mile load and get in a better area.
We can officially call it the floor of rates

Just had a talk with one of my childhood friend from Europe, he is an O/O and you know what, he is driving for $1-1.3 with diesel about $7/gallon. Oh, and he is doing this stupid sh## for years. He is totally broke, renting his small apartment, living in the truck and just paying a loan for truck. Just waste of time and money. He is always broke actually. And its normal for them there. So as long as people here are going to take ANY loads for ANY money, we are going to have the same situation here. Just be clever and think in a long run guys.
Lite bug, Another Canadian driver, 77fib77 and 4 others Thank this. -
Hey dude, if it works 4 you that's what matters. Folks working spot/direct may have different ways of succeeding. I just sat 3 days in SD with my flat, every option made 0 money for my operation. I did what is best for me. Different strokes 4 us all. I'll definitely raise my flag patting myself on the back though, I sure didn't sucker myself into taking a terrible paying load into a horrible area just to say "I got myself a load"...Derailed, Another Canadian driver, 77fib77 and 10 others Thank this.
