Yeah. But the majority of people don't run their mouth about things they're obviously ignorant about. Most people know better. Most people.

So what happens when everything is autonomous and some d-bag with a laptop hacks the system and the whole country is completely shutdown? Or worse it gets hacked and the hacker is a Grand Theft auto player? Lol! It just seems if people would be more patient and a lot more aware of their surroundings that would cut down on a ton of accidents. But ain’t nobody got time fo that!

during the lockdown there was almost no accidents around that area, as soon as the lockdown ended i was seeing cars wrecked left and right on i5,i90 and all the smaller highways in the area. the vast majority of accidents are cause by cars, and far more cars with drunk driving problems then trucks

    Let's dissect this some...
Commercial drivers have formal training on safe operation of a vehicle.
Automobile owners have a couple tests to pass, can be trained by anyone with a license.
Most truckers are highly aware of the requirements to remain safe and operate in a safe yet efficient manner.
Auto operators demonstrate absolute disregard for basic road rules, courtesy, space management, and distracted driving laws...
From the lady putting on makeup, to the guy eating fast food with both hands steering with a knee, to the kid zipping across multiple lanes to get ahead of the idiot in the hammer lane, the list is endless.
Commercial drivers aren't immune to the same behaviors, though it seems much less pronounced and common.
Depending on which report you read, 60 to 80 percent of fatal wrecks involving a commercial vehicle are caused by automobile operators.
Yet, the ignorant demand more restrictions on commercial vehicles.
How about we match insurance requirements to start?
700k liability for all vehicles, 1M injury, etc.
Commercial drivers pay obnoxious rates for insurance. New driver, owner operator, 24k a year.
Auto insurance is a pittance in comparison.
    New driver, 1000/yr.
Subject auto drivers to comparable training as commercial drivers, same testing, same rules, and we'll have a better idea of who's being stupid on the road.

I say you are wrong . Not your idea , not anyone is going to stop the average non commercial driver from causing fatalities. You don't pay much attention when you drive. If you did you would see how badly , how distractedly that four wheelers drive. You not knowing this tells that you are one of them causing fatalities. Why don't you investigate the subject you think you are an expert in and will save so many lives. If you did , and you are honest you would see , who are the most dangerous drivers on the road.
They are 4 wheelers . I see them everyday , violating everyone's rights and putting people in dangerous situations. They do not know and many do not care how they drive around a big truck. Most crashes are caused by the average person driving a small vehicle. Commercial drivers are professional's . They have been trained. They are also a special breed of human to even be able to put up with uneducated , dangerous civilian drivers . FOUR WHEELERS ARE A MENACE TO SOCIETY AND PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS.

Here is a question. How many of the CMV drivers have had this happen?

You are driving along the highway at the posted speed limit in the second or third lane, your following distance is good, so you have a space in front of you. An automobile speeds past you on the left, then barely clearing your front bumper cuts in front of you with no signal, then brakes.
