Trusting me with your wife may not be a good thing.
Anyhow, I'm packing up my truck now so I can roll out around 4 am to load in KY in the morning.
We MIGHT be going with Covenant

Sounds like you've prepared yourself for the worst of everything so you should be surprised by anything that happens. Good luck top both of you.

I'm at Chatt. Got here this evening for "hometime" (at hotel) and truck maintenance. QualCom died yesterday.... I was in the middle of typing a msg for some dispatcher who asked me to repower another truck and I had not enough hrs to do it... it was a team truck that pulls reffers for another carrier. I spent a lot of time on the phone talking to his dispatchers and the receivers where I had to go... Plus, had to have one of the trlr tires changed, it was totally bald and had no air in it....
Finally, job was done, everything worked out well and here I am at Chatt. If you guys are still around give me a call. Would like to meet you both.
Sent you pm.

Well, as you can see, I havent checked in for a few weeks. We have been running. I mean RUNNING! We are getting 4500 to 6500 mikes a week depending on when and if we unload on monday. We get 90%drop and hook, and most times are preplanned sometimes 2 loads out. We are in the process of training our FM to recognize that we are not children, I think there are a lot of drivers he has to babysit, but he is learning to leave us alone and let us run.
Let me get this through to you.... Covenant hires a bunch of losers. Sometimes a good driver gets hired, Ive personally met a few, but the majority is not good. This is hard on the FM, so YOU have to be an adult and work like a pro. If you arent making money here, you either have a crappy co driver or you need to look in the mirror. -

I too am going to attend orientation on the 13th as well. I'm trying to take a, expect the worst hope for the best attitude towards all of this. I've read all I can on the companies that will hire students trying to gain experience, but I ve heard the same for pretty much all of them.
Perhaps I will see you there 'Fence'.
