I hear they're expecting snow for the next 7 days. Oh joy, can't wait to road test while driving in the snow for the first time ever.

 

Nice, I heard it was going to be clear but that was days ago I looked. I read ur pm and tried to reply but to no avail. I dont think I'll mind testing in the snow, just think of the experience we'll get, lol

Congratulations for making a decision! Take it easy during the test, go slow, don't sweat... they don't expect you to be excellent. Just take your time, watch your mirrors, don't climb on the curbs and you will be fine. All the best to you. Rocks.

 

Fence, I also heard that they may let me get some practice in driving and backing since I will get the early on sunday before orientation. I was told they have a pad next to there building that they use.

Rocks , can you confirm any of this.

 

There really was no decision to make. The only other company interested wanted me to run 1 week off the books/illegal, so I really had no choice. I just wish I had known sooner as Christmas is right around the corner. I pray that I won't miss Christmas with the kids.

Jhexham: how long is your bus ride? After a day and a half on the bus, I am not too excited about practicing. Although I am even less excited about blowing the road test and getting sent home.

 

Its supposed to be about 11-12 hours. Going to get there around 6:30 - 7 am sunday, so if Im up to it i would like a lil practice to put my mind at ease. But if not I'll be ok.

Also, i was told that if the trainer wants to half the training into 2 sessions for the holidays its up to him? Unsure of that one. But training will take us into Jan 22 or 23 time frame,roughly.

 

As long as I don't miss Christmas with the kids, I font care how long it takes. My recruiter did not mention splitting up training, who told you that?
