I agree 100 percent. If he has so much work; when does he actually do it?! Frankly, I'm not impressed with his work anyway. I can't tell the difference between it and a nice stock radio with a good power mic either. He's a hack and I firmly believe he's in PA too.

I saw a first-hand situation in NC a week or two ago in which the escort cars having trouble communicating with their oversize client because of that jackdonkey. That is unforgivable

funny you said this, I was almost home last night and I was a little tired, so I didn’t squelch him out I was just listening to what he was saying, he was talking about a back up in Carlisle on 81, then sort of back tracked talking about NM, was really wondering if he’s a Fraud. I found it kind of odd. Didn’t get what he was talking about it was weird.

He's always talking about the Keystone State and specific things about it that only people that are in the area would know.

I’m an oversize escort. While I agree with you about Mark’s behavior, in all fairness, the oversized people just change channels. None of the drivers I work with use channel 19. If someone wants to monitor 19, the could run 2 radios.

Here in the mid-west, they use channel 19, at least on 2 lane highways. I've been warned many times about an on coming over size load. I always thank them for the heads up. I assume they may use a different channel while on the interstate.

I understand what you’re saying. It is a trade off between having a clear channel and hearing info on 19. Usually the escort runs in front on 2 lane roads. The new WITPAC recommendations are to always run on a clear channel.

I don't mind hearing escorts on 19. It provides an advance warning that an oversize is near. Channel 19 is a pretty clear channel until traffic gets snarled. If I was hauling oversized and channel 19 got crazy, Id simply tell the escorts we were going to channel X

Yup I agree. I suppose the easiest thing would to make channel 9 (since its hardly used) as a heavy haul channel. Since most cb radios have the channel 9/19 switch, it would be really easy for an escort to warn on coming traffic when needed, then jump back to channel 9.
Edit: after thinking about that, I suppose that hardly used channel 9/19 switch would wear out fairly quick. At least on the cobra CB's, their switches aren't very good.

Probably because he was listening to someone in Pennsylvania talking about a backup on 81 in Carlisle. We hear him out here on the East Coast almost everyday and I'm sure he hears some of us.
