What "rights" are you referring to?

And while I'm not an "eld hugger", facts are what they are. The mandate has had a tremendous positive effect on rates which admittedly I didn't see coming.

I've been a supporter of OOIDA for many years and will continue to do so. But the fight against EOBR's is lost. No-one cares or cared what drivers think or thought. The only thing that will cause change is other industries reliant on trucks to move their goods losing money. And likely that change will not benefit drivers. I peeled my senior member OOIDA stickers off the truck and replaced them with this.

The fight against EOBRs was lost from the beginning.

No matter what the argument is, what politicians and the public hear is "We want to run illegal".

It would be different if the vast majority of drivers had been running compliant for the last 30 yrs, but that's just not the case.

Yeah well I don't care what anyone thinks about that sticker. I put in on there so LEO know at a glance the truck is compliant and waive it on thru.

Well The right to be innocent till proven guilty. Not to incriminate yourself. The forced mandate to purchase equipment for my business that I own and operate. That I personally see no value. That adds no safety to my operation, or revenue. If your good at business you understand this point of view. If not you probably have a tall shifter and a low ride seat. Its Against what are forefathers intended. Government over reach. If you not against this, you are for it. There is no in between. You are the same cut throat operators that work cheap and think you making bank, and are the problem with the industry. You think the rates are up. Ha they are just getting to were they should have been along time ago. This is a scam by the megas. You should ask your self what is in it for the megas, Governments long game? Look past your nose, and long hood and think about it. Do you really think the megas are ok with you making more money? They are the least safest and don't care. Do you really think they are trying to get safer? They are bringing us professional drivers down to their bottom feeder level. The ATA is bragging about leveling the playing field! They can not compete with us. Even with government subsidiaries, tax break, cheap employees, cheap trucks. There truck orders are skyrocketing. How long before they start to low ball the market you work in. Rates are up, they gave themselves a raise. They built a new way to come after Your Customers. And they will due it cheaper than you. This is were the scum scab owner ops and small trucking start competing with them. Its a long game. Best of luck. I will fight for my brother and sisters of America. You will be why there must be people like me. #eldorme

Why is OOIDA so tight with those vinyl stickers, I got a pair when I first joined and have been moving them from truck to truck, now I have them on the back windows of my pickups.
They look brown and moldy, a new set would be nice.
