I was thinking about this today.

Let's say the FMCSA issued a new regulation. No more Electronic Logging Devices, everyone has to go back to paper logging.

Just how many of the ELD Do-gooders do you think would log 100% honestly?

 

Yea... or how many e loggers while instantly change their views to paper is safer because the FMCSA said so

Do you really want me to answer that? I doubt very many would go back to lying on paper. Life on elogs is just all roses and sunshine from what I see and hear.

 

Now I'm on the "shipper" side of things, talking to brokers to pick up our overflow freight around the midwest and the last week has been hell. Can't find trucks and things are very very pricey.

 

If elds went away tomorrow, rates would drop faster than they went up.

Mega carriers arena pulling from the spot to move trucks, because if they were, I wouldn't be sitting in Jacksonville waiting.
