We should park our units

On one hand) Adapt, overcome, improvise. Heard that some place.

On the other hand) Whine and cry like a little girl. Scene that often, especially on the Internet.

 

Well in 8 minutes I'm going to start my unit. In 28 minutes it will be on the highway.
In 4 hours I'll be unloaded.
Make about $1900 on this load after the blue sky for a little over 2 days work. Which is chump change compared to what most of you make, but I never was that smart.
In 7 hours I'll have dropped & hooked and be on the way home. Make about the same by the end of Monday.

So how about Tuesday we park our units until Thursday?
Does that work for everyone?
I'm flexible.

 

Works for me. I got home yesterday morning and my truck will be parked until Sunday afternoon. Does that qualify?

 

They didn't quit, they were not getting the right rate from gm. the same with my company, I was offered a bunch of gm work but they didn't want to pay my contracted rate so I turned it all down.

 

Or would know how to log correctly without consistently getting shut down for not taking proper breaks, keeping up with their input onto the logs?

I'm in the same boat: issue has been finding someone worth $70k.

 

I think the chance of that happening is zero

Got home Wednesday. 3 day week next week. Next week after that the 22 it will be hammer down time again.
