I have found a few websites that claim if you fill out one application they will send it to all companies that suit your needs. Are these safe and which would be best one to attempt? Would this be safe http://www.justtruckingjobs.com/index.asp

Why would you do that as opposed to contacting the companies yourself? I'm not sure I want to hand over my personal info to some third party who may or may not send it in and who may do who knows what with it.

We used to get submissions from companies like this when I worked in another field. Right in the garbage they went.

those web sites are a complete waste of time, all your going to get is a bunch of sheety companies calling and emailing you.

I am finding many companies through various search engines. I just figured there were a lot more then I was able to search for. Most websites only appear to give me names of the big boys so I thought using one of those job sites I would be contacted by the smaller companies.

When I drive to my Truck Driving class I go about 20 miles on I-80 and 8 miles on I-39. I take a pad and a pen with me and I write down the name of every company I see. In just 2 trips last week to get enrolled and set up payment for the class, I have 20 new companies to check out.

It's also good because now I know that company travels through my area which may mean a better chance of getting hired and maybe easier home time.

Some of the links take you to apps and the name of the company is nowhere to be found

Best to get an email set up on g-mail or something.

Never use your good email address on applications.

And never list your home phone either.
