jgeck90 I'm kinda in a similar boat. the add says 3mos exp. This is the way I see it. If you can find a local job that WILL TRAIN you go for it.

However keep in mind that in like most trades school is ther eto teach you the basics and Get your licences. Real education happens out in the field or road or whater. The skills you will gain from being with a good trainer will be invaluable over the long haul.

I'm looking for a company that WILL TRAIN ME. give me the experience then Maybe move into a local or regional gig. But most good runs will go to drivers with senority. so if you have no exp and they offer you a rt no one wants there maybe something you do not know lol.

also be prepaired to bust your butt ltl locals work long hard hours for decent money. there is always a trade off. home nights and weekends steady pay. But most likely you will be only driveing half the day if lucky. working the docks or multiple stops in local traffic. with the company monitoring every minute.

I wish you well whatever way you choose but remember utmost get some good traing first. the rest will happen in time.
