    Iowa closed most of the interior scales about 10 years and then they replaced em with about 10000 white tahoes that you never know when or where you'll see em .

    I really do not know about them using portables more but with the crowds on the interstates they might be going after all of us that know other routes.

    Maybe their switching to road side cameras on back roads? I've heard this is working against us in KY, very well.

    Since most have prepass they even have scanners to catch the info off of those, thought you could make it to your house being shut down a hour away out of hours.now they waiting for you just down the road with wrecker.
