You're correct, a citation without an inspection doesn't show on your PSP and being overweight is not in the BASIC's anymore, so the company's score won't be affected. My info to him was presuming that an inspection with a violation took place along with his weight citation, which would be going on his PSP.

Concerning the weights, you're also correct about the APU provision and the steer limits but I figured I'd just give him a heading on the weights since he desperately needs some guidance.

 

I only scale a load if it's over 35k and it's not from a regular customer. We haul for Siemens out of El Paso and the loads are usually 38-40k but they're consistent on how they are loaded so I set the tandems to the Tennessee mark, check my air suspension pressure, and if it's under 53 psi, I roll.

 

I get overweight ticket on the scale. Total weight was 61340lbs, load weight 27400lbs I had 24 palettes. I did slide my tandems on fourth hole. They found overweight on the trailer axle. I don't know what to do now?! This is a weight station record...

Slide the tandems on the trailer BACK further to move some of the weight on the drives. I cannot see the posted image

 

That guy that that picked you up,you should have asked him to explain the weights.just because the weight is on the Qualcomm and bills does not mean your legal.the shipper does not distribute every load evenly.why do you think there's scale houses.also that ticket your company got,dont be surprises if they take money from your check to pay for it.it is your job and responsibility to male sure you are legal not your company.
