Not the numbers I was looking for. And I was wearing sweats, running shoes, and my marmot jacket. So maybe that equals a couple pounds. I usually wear my shorts with flip flops to weigh. I would stop exercising if I didn't notice the clothes getting looser now and definitely have to wear the belt and seem to have more of an energy boost. Road my bike 35 miles yesterday, 20 on Saturday and 19 on Friday. Having sore muscles makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. I actually put on a t-shirt yesterday and didn't have to stretch it out to feel comfortable. Lol

    Need another grocery run.

Don't know what the deal is with this water, but I will never buy it again. When I use it in my hot water kettle it leaves a hard film in the bottom every time I use it. It is bottled in Michigan. ...hmmmm. nah. Don't know why, but my other water doesn't do this.

I had the same problem with that water in my Keurig coffee maker. The best water I've found so far is ZephyrHills that I bought in GA or FL. Ozarka isn't bad either.

Not in that area much. But I went back to the gallon jugs of distilled water. I'm going to use that water to clean my bike and wipe my shoes off.
Done another 20 miles this morning outside of Omaha. Good wake me up!

I wonder. ...is it hard to teach yourself to in line skate? I have some, but scared I'm going to hurt myself. Depends on how good the bike ride in the morning.

I plan to carb up in the morning for my attempt at at 60+ mile bike ride. About 6 hours on the bike. Maybe a little more in my condition. It's earlier than I would usually go that far starting the season off. There's a trail 1.4 miles down the road that goes 40+ miles one way. I want to go 33 of it and come back. Why 33 you wonder? Cause that's where I can get some Gatorade for my bottles to come back. With out plenty of fluid it will suck severely.

Well 6:30 comes early. ....plan on riding out by 8:30.

Carbing up is best done 36 hours before the event. Just long enough for your body to process the carbs into energy, but not long enough to convert carbs to fat storage.

Food for thought. I just remembered something i had to study back in college. When a person lowers their total food intake by a substantial amount, our bodies go into survival mode. Basically our body thinks we are facing starvation, so it will slow your metabolism down substantially. This helps explain the wall people hit when they go on diets. Lose lots of weight easily at first then all of a sudden they stop losing weight even to their intake has stayed the same.

Holy cow. It's pretty cool for a bike ride, but I'm still going to go for it. I'm concerned about where I'm parked on a long up hill to the truck in the way back. Lol might have to find a different parking spot. Don't know if my legs will push me back up the at the end of the ride. Hahaha.

My calorie count is down, but still eat quit a bit. Lots of fruit and veggies don't have the calorie count as donuts, cokes, hot dogs, candy bars, etc...
