Hard to fight it if you are overweight.....
That said, you really aren't paying the fine, but a bond to insure you show up for court. It just happens that the bond is the same amount as the fine.... Gotta love loopholes.
At least in the few states I've looked into it anyway.

We were two and three wide going past that coop on Thursday when they had it backed out into the road. No thank you. I’m not stopping in a live lane of traffic to weigh or show a permit. They can come chase me down if they want to, I’m pretty easy to find usually.TheLoadOut, Hammer166, cke and 1 other person Thank this.

since we're on the topic of weigh stations, there's an agriculture weigh station on I75 at the entrance of Florida. if I'm not hauling agriculture product, do I have to stop? I've been delivering loads to Florida and drive pass it every single time. nothing has happened yet. however I always see other trucks pull in so I don't know
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
You will have to stop as long as the ag type stuff is listed on what you can haul
If you take that off then you will get green lightedJenkins2020, mjd4277, Coffey and 1 other person Thank this. -
How? Just be in the right lane before the S curves start

Now Florida’s agricultural officers WILL go through the trouble of chasing someone down who decides to bypass the station when they’re supposed to go in!tscottme Thanks this.
