we drove a 379 ex hood pete with a 323" wheelbase, with a 132 inch ICT sleeper....shower etc in it....and the truck didnt weigh that much...we pulled a 48' reefer with wood floors in the reefer...including blankets, straps load bars , dolly, furn carts, pallet jack, flatbed gear (chains binders tarps) 2 side boxes, and an apu, and all of our personal gear and we were only about 38000 combined weight empty....

we also drove a 780 and pulled a 53 reefer and we could scale 43,000.....so there is no way trk alone weighs that much....not a regular standard tractor

I heard the Volvos were heavy but I had no idea they were that bad.

My 379 63" stand up with 48' combo flat with full fuel and all my gear is 32,500.

My ex-wife needed a lift one day. I took her in the truck. When we came up to the scale house, I told her she would have to get out, and I would meet her on the other side of the scale. Sorry, but I had lose 500 pounds somehow, to get legal for the scale.
