Weird CB problems 2022 Kenworth T680

Ha ha, no problem, I've been there and done that. I assumed you were talking about the antenna mount corrosion causing the meters not to work. Of course I had to ask, because I couldn't see how it would cause this particular problem. But hey I'm always willing to learn something new.
Unfortunately the OP never did report back his findings on the cubby hole problem. For the life of me, I can't figure out what would cause this problem with the radios meters unless it was magnetic related. Even if it was a static problem the meters just wouldn't start working again as he pulls the radios out of the cubby hole. This is the first time I've ever heard of this problem. That's why I was really hoping to help him figure it out.

 

I can't agree more. Great looking setup. Those are the two minimum tools every radio guy should have. Thanks to you recommending it, I bought the rig expert too. My old MFJ analyzer was great in it's day, but the rig expert is far superior for around the same money.
