I'm running Gabriel Gas SLX all the way around. They are somewhere just over a year old so maybe 60,000 miles on them. The steer shocks don't appear to be leaking or not functioning properly. The wheel hubs (king pin is built in on Volvos I believe) were replaced 2 years ago. I'm running the steers at 110 on the mark. Thanks

Check your front Hub Bearings for excessive play and check Drag Link for wear and play.

    LumbraX Thanks this.

I use to have this problem and I always thought it was the RY617. Then I switched to Michelin and started getting that wear 50k miles in.

Found a shop that did just suspension and they point out my issues. Had many recommendations for them, that were all reputable, so I trusted them. Went ahead and had the front springs replaced and the rear spring bushings. Top it off with an excellent alignment and I haven't seen that wear issue since.

I'd look for a shop that does just suspension/alignment that is reputable and go from there. An alignment can do wonders or point out flaws.
