Weird problem, trailer sway and possible 5th wheel issue?

    We didn't have a lot of air ride tankers. But the ones we had dumped the bags when you dropped the trailer. Otherwise, if the trailer was loaded, and as the air bled out as it sat there, the trailer would drop down in the rear and of course the load would settle there too. This would put a strain on the trailer dollies and after some time they would start binding up so bad it was hard to raise or lower them. Shop had to change out a lot of them.

    When I hauled eggs, we did have older air ride trailers, and when dropped, I remember going in and out with a forklift, was a bit risky, until all the air bled out. I never pulled an air ride tanker, as if a tanker isn't tense enough, I'd have to think an air ride would exacerbate the issue.
