No doubt but let me ask my question again because you didn't actually answer it.

I've been seriously considering changing my TONU to a full rate cancellation fee. Do you actually get paid after billing a client the full rate as a TONU? Share your experiences concerning this with the class.

 

There is an oldcastle plant near me that I have seen loads offered from that are absolutely ridiculous 200 mi $300, 800 mi round trip (400 each way) $950.

 

Because someone will move it for that. Crazy but they're out there.

 

The plant near me has gone to 120 days out on the full time hired trucks.......

 

Maybe it's the area or broker, but when I was hauling precast for Oldcastle sites near Denver it always paid decent. Which is strange, considering it's a typically bad market area at a time when rates were lower on average. But we weren't hauling to big box stores, mostly construction sites in resort towns and upscale neighborhoods in the mountains.

 

How long ago.... is the key ?
