Why do COMPANY drivers expect to be paid FULLY for tarping is beyond me. You do not own the tarps, or the bungees, or the equipment. You are lucky you get ANY compensation for it. If you really want to look at it, you get medical insurance and other benifits that more than compensate for the difference in the $15 pay. Quit your crying and do your job. The guy at McDonalds doesn't get $5 of every customer he rings up, so why should you get $100 for every tarp job you do?? Don't like, buy your own stuff and go at it as a business owner. Until then, shut up and hold that steering wheel and drive like you are paid to do as an EMPLOYEE!!!!

Sorry....but I don't think EVERTHING is included in the ##### mileage pay. And "benefits" are an EXTRA that companies offer NOT part of the pay package. I wanna be paid for EVERY THING I DO.....that includes work being done when the tires aren't turning.

 

That right, if u sign on to do the job. Do it. If u don't think it right, then time to move on. I would. I used to work for Crst with contract 8 mth. Pay r horrible and have to drive with team. I kept my liscen clean, never refused a load and all on time, but quitelly start to look for a better company. once my contract up with company all line up. I hand them their keys. Now, with 3yrs of exp. I make over $20 hrs. If I go over the road, I make .40 cnts a miles. There r company out there U can make good money off. most time off week end. Some company out there will pay decent money for your exp.(of crse always can be more) if you look hard enough. I use to put at lease 7 to 10 applicant with top paying company. I useally land at least 3. But keep in mind u have to kept a clean liscen and good report with your old company, even if u don't like them. Good hunting.
