Well if we don't let others know

I'm sorry if anyone got offended by my post as to a bad company out of Washington. Well it is to let drivers know that companies today think of us drivers as pieces of stock (meat) they only care about how much revenue we can turn for them. This has been like this for a good many years and if we don't start taking a stand on how we feel it is only going to get worse. My brothers and sisters we can do something about this and it doesn't take much to get everyone on the same page we need to let the goverment know we are willing to give up the names of such companies that think they are above the laws stated by the ones that started the complyance laws. For example the 14hr. rule. Companies think that it doesn't apply to them. How many of you's have had a dispatcher tell you don't worry about it?? Well this is only one of the laws companies think is wrong. I have had the privlage to just have worked with such a company that said if you can run a few more hrs. and back up your log book so it looks good to D.O.T. then go ahead and do it. Now lets say we are using E-logs how does this look to you. Yep you have now just defrauded your log . This is now on you driver and the fine is going to put you with serious points and possibly lose you license.

My most favorite one is they ask you how many hrs. you have and they say can you take this load for us we don't have anyone else that can do it and you are in the truck stop an see 3 or 4 other trucks sitting there so you have got to ask your self what the heck is going on why in the world haven't they asked the other guy's. My first impression is well maybe they don't have the hours either but just to see what is going on you go and ask one of the other drivers if they asked them to take that load now the truth comes out nope we didn't get asked to pull that load and they are upset with you cause you were the last truck to get unloaded. Now see where this is going people because you have done some loads to make your self look good to the company now you put yourself in the line of fire as one of the drivers who will run illegal.
