Sorry to be so late to the party but just started reading this thread. I was running shingles out of Ohio into Canada a lot. When they would load me at the shippers they would load some of the yard with the shingles. Once I would empty I would broom off the stone in Canada. Once commented to myself how I was moving Ohio into Canada one load at a time.

Tragic. (No pun intended). I have memories of them playing their first gig at the diamond club here in Winnipeg. Got booed off stage. Bar owner said they would never make it.. Saw them at sunfest. What a show.
He could have easily gone to ground and spent his remaining time with his wife and kids. No one would have blamed him. Instead he embarks on a final tour for their fans, the last show being played in their hometown.

The are well known in Europe too.

 

They are local to me. Downey's team hockey picture still hangs on the wall in the Ernestown arena. He was the goalie. Probably should get tickets to that Kingston show huh. Might be kind of a downer tho.

Won't be a dry eye at any concert on their tour this year.
