Ten weeks! #### that's a long time! TDI in Sanford was three! Is it just night courses or something?

I feel your pain! Mine is 16 Weeks, 300hr course and 850 miles behind the wheel. Now, I'm still active duty Air Force so I have to work durning the day, and go to school at night and on the weekends. Usually, this is an 8 week course.

$2750.00 of which the state is covering all thru a displaced worker program. Not WIA. I'm out of pocket around $250.00 for processing fee, MVR check, Dot physical, and pepe test. I was a Roofing contractor and those **** hurricanes in '04 wiped out my market.

Nope. 7am-2pm M-F for 10 weeks with the exception of some night drive time. I figure I'm gonna burn about $500.00 in gas making all those trips but I get to sleep in my own bed at the casa. So I'm very happy.

It's definitely nicer being at home while going through school. You'll have fun though. I loved school! You will meet some interesting individuals too!

Wow this thread grew quick. :biggrin_255:

    Ok I'm going to a Tech school so it's 8 weeks long. M-Th 8-4

Keep in mind I'm still working 3rd shift as I can't afford to be unemployed for 8 weeks so it's going to be some long days, but I should get use to that right. :biggrin_25525:

I got the Hope Grant so they'll pay the 5k tuition and I pay around $200 for the fuel fee and a couple other fees. Can't beat that deal.

So I'm ready to get going. Still gotta do my Dot physical and I'm all set. :biggrin_255:

    xlsdraw and AF461 Thank this.
