I can’t decide if I’ve been given a gift or a punishment.
was required to be back in the truck at 0500 from home time. 10am rolls around, they still have nothing for me, so I squawk a little bit!
now I’m sitting in a Walmart distribution center waiting on a manager to be available to give me a one hr orientation...Evidently they have weekly guaranteed minimums for Pam drivers while they’re working here...
not sure if this is a gift or a curse!
Well today was unexpected

Like an interview to drive for the walmart private fleet.Lepton1 Thanks this.
-
no like Walmart outsourcing some of their loads to my company, and I will be running said loads
-
Got what you wanted then right?
-
Oh ok good stuff
-
I ran those loads for a bit. Just be careful. You will have to deliver to stores and they have some funky stores (Sioux Falls, SD). Tight docks at some. Make sure you know the right way in and out.
-
Which one? There are 4 Walmarts in Sioux Falls. The oldest one next to the Sam's Club would be the only one to give a decent driver trouble.Lepton1 Thanks this.

I'll NEVER be 'required' to be back from home time at 0500.
No way would I wake up that early on my last morning at home.
1000 is my standard time of return.
That is not a gift.FoolsErrand Thanks this. -
Starting to realize that. It’s almost midnight, and I just had to return a load I was going to start running because it was almost 400 lbs over my maximum
-
I've done that with both Walmart and Target.
I turn down those loads now because they are such a PITA.
